Fashion & Textile Museum

Wallace Sewell were invited to create a piece in homage to the traditional South American rebozo, to be exhibited as part of the ‘Made in Mexico’ exhibition held at the Fashion and Textile Museum. As worn by Frida Kahlo, the rebozo was often used by women to carry their children. This takes the form of a large shawl, combining the decorative with the utilitarian.  www.ftmlondon.org
